ABOUT US

We work hard to be a place that is welcoming and safe for all of our guests. We can’t meet everyone’s preference, but our hope is for you to leave here wanting to come back. We want to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating a place where they are led to worship, challenged to connect, and encouraged to embrace God's promise, purpose and plan for their life.

GATHERING TIMES

Vision & Mission

We seek to be a place where people who are broken, beat-down, overwhelmed, overcome, looking for hope, looking for purpose, where people who are wanting to be a part of something that’s bigger than themselves and making a forever difference in people’s lives, can find all of that through a relationship with Jesus Christ. There are approximately 19,000 unchurched, dechurched, or don’t even care about church, people within 3 miles of where we gather each Sunday. We want to do something about that. We want that number to be zero. So why are we doing what we’re doing at Greenwood? So that people might be Redeemed in Christ, Restored from their brokenness, and Renewed to new life. R3.

Coming from another church or looking for a new church home?

Thanks for checking out Greenwood. We know you have a lot of choices when it comes to a church home in Bowling Green, KY. Is Greenwood the right place for you? We hope so, but you’ll be able to make the decision as you get to know us and what we’re about. So, to be up front, we’re dedicated to being a church that engages with those who are far from God. We want to invite them into a growing relationship with Jesus. Everything from our physical environment, to our classroom and group environments, to our Sunday morning services, are geared towards that end. Our style and presentation have been planned with the mindset that Jesus came to “seek and save the lost,” and we want to participate in that mission in all that we do. We’re trying to look out, not in. We don’t compromise the message of the Gospel, but our methods change, as needed, to be relevant and helpful to our culture and community. If you’re down with that, this might be the place for you!
