GBc Kidz CLAsses

Please check your child/children in at the check-in stations in front of the GBC Kids hall.

The following GBC Kidz classes are available:

Sundays -

8:30am - Infant-Preschool

10:30am - Infant-5th Grade

Wednesdays -6:00-7:00, Infants-5th Grade

Sunday MORNING bible studies

We’d love for you to join us for Bible Studies on Sundays. The following adult class is offered:

  • Adults - Room #6 9:30AM

    Dive deeper, and amplify the message from today’s sermon, in our Sunday Morning Bible Study. Anyone is welcome to join!

  • YOUNG COUPLES BIBLE STUDY - Room #6 10:15AM

    Join other young couples in this small group style bible study! Learn from the Word and come alongside each other.

Impact Youth

Impact Youth exists to get students in 6th through 12th grade Face to Face with Jesus. The youth group meets on Sunday mornings after worship in the 10:30am service, and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 in the Fellowship Hall.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MINISTRIES 6:00-7:00 PM

Come see what God has for you in the middle of your week!

What if you became even more apart of the community @ GBC? What if you committed to getting plugged in this year and really see what God wants to do in and through you? Start with Wednesday Nights! We have something for everyone- babies to 5th grade, youth, women, men.

New classes for Summer!

-Women’s:

1) Hidden | spend time in the forgotten corners of scripture and get to know some of the most hidden, least remembered people in the Bible! Your life is Hidden with Christ.

2) Bible Bootcamp | learn HOW to read your Bible, how to dig into the Word, and become a student of our Savior. This is small group style and will have a cap of 15 ladies.

-Men’s: The Book of Acts | dig into the Book of Acts verse by verse with your Pastor

-Impact youth: Join us for youth group! Small groups, games, food, etc. We’re walking through the book of Ephesians together!

-4th/5th Grade:Celebrity Status | make Jesus famous!

-Pre-K-3rd Grade: Built for Battle | you have the Armor of God!

DC MISSION TRIP

July 25th-28th is our church-wide DC Mission Trip!  Click the button below for more information, or to officially sign up before the spots are filled! The deadline to signup is June 1st!

5TH SUNDAY JUNE 29TH

When there is a 5th Sunday in a month we have a rhythm of doing 3 things- singing extra, gathering all together in ONE service (10:30), and eating! So plan to stay after service June 29th to join us for lunch- we’re planning a summer cookout, and it’s sure to be delicious!

VBS VOLUNTEER TRAINING TODAY!

We need YOU to make VBS a hit! If you have signed up to volunteer, or if you’re interested in being a volunteer, be sure to stay after the 10:30 service today. We want you to feel confident and ready for this incredible ministry opportunity! We are all called to go and make disciples, and this is the perfect chance for you to do just that.

At our Vision & Investment Meeting last Wednesday, Pastor Shane cast a vision for the Summer to “Grow As You Go!” We know that over the summer families will be in and out with vacations and other summer activities, but while you’re away, stay plugged in! Bring your Bible with you, watch online, engage in what’s happening at GBC so you stay connected. When you’re in town, get to church- don’t miss the opportunity to continue to grow in community & faith!

VBS REGISTRATION

VBS is HERE! June 23-26th please join us from 5:30-8:00pm for the ultimate fun of Vacation Bible School! This is an incredible opportunity to get your kiddos Face to Face with Jesus. The first 100 kids to register receive a free t-shirt! We have 48 shirts left, and they are going quick, so scan here and make it official head to greenwoodbaptist.live/vbs.

Make Space

We want to offer you a mid-day time with Jesus in the quiet of the Sanctuary. The word sanctuary means a place of refuge, and that is what we want to offer. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00-1:00, our doors will be open for you to come pray and be still. We will have coffee and a quiet environment ready for you to rest with the Father.

Is your child asking questions about salvation?

GBC Kidz is excited to JUMPSTART the conversation of salvation for your family. Our Children’s Minister, Emily, will offer a Jumpstart class the first Sunday of every month at 10:00am. This is a great way to meet your child on their level and discuss the important topics of salvation and baptism. You can let Emily know you plan to attend by clicking the button below!

new building project

As we continue in the mission and vision, we have to be faithful to prepare for the growth we see now and know is coming at GBC. We’re building a new building to create environments for children, youth, and adults to get face-to-face with Jesus. If you’d like to contribute to the New Building Project, use the button below.
