GBc Kidz CLAsses

Please check your child/children in at the check-in stations in front of the GBC Kids hall.

The following GBC Kidz classes are available:

Sundays -

8:30am - Infant-Preschool

10:30am - Infant-5th Grade

Wednesdays -6:00-7:00, Infants-5th Grade

Sunday MORNING bible studies

We’d love for you to join us for Bible Studies on Sundays. The following adult class is offered:

  • Adults - Room #6 9:30-10:15am

    Dive deeper, and amplify the message from today’s sermon, in our Sunday Morning Bible Study. Anyone is welcome to join!

  • YOUNG COUPLES BIBLE STUDY BEGINS FEB 2ND

    We are excited to offer a Young Couples Bible Study on Sunday mornings at 10:30 beginning Feb. 2nd! The idea would be for you to attend the 8:30 service, and then go to bible study during the 10:30 if you aren’t up to serve. They will be meeting in Room #6 following our Adult Bible Study.

Impact Youth

Impact Youth exists to get students in 6th through 12th grade Face to Face with Jesus. The youth group meets on Sunday mornings after worship in the 10:30am service, and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00 in the Fellowship Hall.

Connection CARD

There is a new contact card in your pew. We would like for everyone to complete the card and drop it in the offering bag, or at the Guest Services desk. We are 100% not going to use your information to bother you, and we are definitely keeping it confidential- so no worries! We just really want to be able to communicate with you in more ways than social media. Giving Statements get mailed soon, snow and wintry weather may result in last minute announcements, etc. So, help us out here, Church Family! If this is your first time here, or your millionth time here, we need you to complete a card. Thank you for your help!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT MINISTRIES 6:00-7:00 PM

What if you became even more apart of the community of GBC? What if you committed to getting plugged in this year and really seeing what God wants to do in and through you? Start with Wednesday Nights! We have something for everyone- babies to 5th grade, youth, women, men. We kick off new studies this Wednesday, January 8th, at 6:00. Come see what God has for you in the middle of your week!

CHANGE COLLECTION FOR “KNOWN.”

We want to be KNOWN for our love for one another (John 13:35). We want to be KNOWN by what the Church is for, not what the world thinks the church is against. Beginning in February, we will be having once a month community mission projects. Our first one is February 22nd and we are headed to laundry mats all over BG to pay for people’s laundry and make their load lighter. Throughout January, we are collecting money in the big blue water jug in the lobby to go towards the laundry fund. Let’s fill it up, so we can pour it out, GBC!

BIBLE RECAP

We want to read the WHOLE Bible this year, as many of us at GBC as possible! What an impact that could have on our church and community. If you’d like to join us, you can either pick up a print copy of The Bible Recap at Barnes and Noble/Amazon, or you can participate digitally by clicking the link below. We can’t wait to see what God will teach us through His Word in 2025!

2025 DOMINICAN REPUBLIC MISSION TRIP

Join us in the Dominican Republic as we partner with DR Vision and missionary Jen Kubasch. The trip is April 28th-May 3rd. We still have some spots! More information, and the form to sign up, can be found at greenwoodbaptist.live/dominicanrepublic.

ROOM IN THE INN

Room in the Inn takes place every other Thursday through March. Our church hosts to offer a warm, safe space in the winter months, and it’s time to line up volunteers as the temperatures cool. If you would be willing to serve as a cook, host, driver, or with setup/clean up, click the button below!

Make Space

We want to offer you a mid-day time with Jesus in the quiet of the Sanctuary. The word sanctuary means a place of refuge, and that is what we want to offer. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00-1:00, our doors will be open for you to come pray and be still. We will have coffee and a quiet environment ready for you to rest with the Father.

Is your child asking questions about salvation?

GBC Kidz is excited to JUMPSTART the conversation of salvation for your family. Our Children’s Minister, Emily, will offer a Jumpstart class the first Sunday of every month at 10:00am. This is a great way to meet your child on their level and discuss the important topics of salvation and baptism. You can let Emily know you plan to attend by clicking the button below!

As we continue in the mission and vision, we have to be faithful to prepare for the growth we see now and know is coming at GBC. We’re talking about a new building to create environments for children, youth, and adults to get face-to-face with Jesus.
